================ =Mailbot README= ================ 1. Getting Started Using Mailbot is pretty simple. All you need to do is run the self-extracting .exe file "mailbot.exe" and choose where Mailbot should install. 2. Registration Once you've purchased Mailbot, enter your registration key into the file "regid.txt". Don't put anything besides your registration key in this file, just leave it one line with just your registration key. 3. Prefixes Mailbot comes with a sample prefix.txt file. We recommend you replace this file with your own prefix.txt. This file is used by mailbot to create accounts. If you want your accounts to all begin with a certain letter or sequence of letters, you can enter just one prefix. If you want your accounts to have a number of different names or letters with which they can begin, you can enter all the various prefixes in prefix.txt one per line. If you want your account names to be randomly generated, just delete prefix.txt. If you change your mind, it's easy to just make a new one. You can choose how many digits are added to the end of each prefix when generating accounts by changing the number in the box marked "Number of digits to add to prefix". 4. Forwarding and POP The checkboxes under Options that allow you to enable forwarding and POP access should be fairly self-explanatory. Post in the support forum if you have a question. 5. Proxies In order to use a proxy with Mailbot, simply enter the proxy details in the box and check the appropriate checkbox. |
